That which is missing, is of course, water. Water is absolutely necessary for every farming enterprise.
In the future though, something else will be missing from Australian farms and farms worldwide.
The Bible indicates that one day, perhaps soon, there will be a sudden world-wide disappearance of people from the fields (Matthew 24:40). Not only will people disappear from the fields, they will disappear from their workplaces – and even their beds (Luke 17.34-35).
Those that will disappear are those that have placed their faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins.
The Bible indicates that God removes every person that has trusted Christ to heaven before He pours out His judgment on the entire world during a seven year period called The Tribulation (Matthew 24.21).
The sudden removal of Christians is known as The Rapture and is mentioned in a number of places in the Bible. At the rapture the graves of believers will miraculously open and their bodies will be raised to Heaven along with the bodies of living Christians.
The Apostle Paul informed the Thessalonians of this world event when he said,
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4.16-17).
Will you be taken or left behind?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3.16-17).
