John Wesley recognized the need for evangelism in his day. He emphasized that the Christian had one business on earth: to save souls. Wesley also knew the need for prayer.

I continue to dream and pray about a revival of holiness in our day that moves forth in mission and creates authentic community..

To accomplish the spreading of the gospel Wesley himself did the work of an evangelist riding some 250,000 miles on horseback and because of his leadership many other travelling preachers took the gospel to those outside the church.

Wesley Recognized, Agonized and Organized for souls to be won into God’s Kingdom.

The Church today must do the same. We must RECOGNIZE:

…Behold I say unto you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields..(John 4.35)

We must AGONIZE:

…Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving..(Colossians 4.2)

We must ORGANIZE:

…Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16.15)

If Churches today do not RECOGNIZE, AGONIZE and ORGANIZE then they will surely FOSSILIZE.
